After a particulary poor game of golf, a club member skipped the club house and started to go home. As he was walking towards the parking lot, a policemen stopped him and asked "Did you tee off on the sixteenth hole about twenty minutes ago?".

"Yes" the golfer resonded.

"Did you happen to hook your ball over the trees and it went off the course?"

"Yes, how did you know?"

"Well" the policemen said very seriously, "Your ball flew out on the driveway and crashed through a driver's windshield. The car went out of control and crashed into 5 other cars and a fire truck. The fire truck couldnt make it to the fire, and the building burned down. What are you going to do about it?"

"I think i'll close my stance a bit, tighten my grip and lower my right thumb."
